The disgustingly foul behavior demonstrated by the Pravda media against President Donald Trump continues to be unprecedented in any historical era, but the worst news is their behavior isn’t likely to improve anytime soon.
In recent weeks you may recall that first lady Melania Trump underwent a surgical procedure on one of her kidneys.
“Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney issue. She will likely remain there for the duration of the week,” her office said in a statement May 14. “The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”
The New York Post noted further that an “embolization is a minimally invasive treatment that blocks one or more blood vessels or abnormal vascular channels.”
Nevertheless, it required some healing time and no doubt the first lady’s public calendar was cleared to allow for that.
However, if you’re a Leftist member of the American Pravda media and your Trump Derangement Syndrome has worsened to the point where you’re incapable of rational thought any longer, you come up with a wild conspiracy to explain her absence.
Like spousal abuse.
Then you openly discuss what, if any, legal trouble POTUS Trump could be in for smacking the first lady around.
As they say, you can’t make this stuff up. (Related: Leftists attack Melania Trump for saying ‘The Lord’s Prayer’)
As noted by The National Sentinel, David Frum of The Atlantic posited this legal ‘conundrum’ in a tweet on Saturday: “Suppose President Trump punched the First Lady in the White House (federal property = federal jurisdiction), then ordered the Secret Service to conceal the assault. POTUS has Article II authority over Secret Service. Is that obstruction? Under Sekulow/Dowd, apparently NO.”

Unfortunately, Frum wasn’t the only loser to make this suggestion. He was joined by Rolling Stone magazine writer Jamil Smith.
“I wish that I didn’t suspect that the prolonged, poorly explained public absence of Melania Trump could be about concealing abuse. I wish that it was a ludicrous prospect. I wish that the @POTUS wasn’t a man with a history of abusing women, including those to whom he is married,” he wrote.

Late-night “comedian” Stephen Colbert even got in on the conspiracy — which just happened to be on the same evening that FLOTUS Melania was seen alongside her husband at a White House event to welcome Gold Star families and recognize their lost loved ones.
It’s bad enough that these lunatics have public forums. What’s worse is that a percentage of the American public believes them and is actively entertaining the notion, right now, in their confused little minds, that President Trump physically abuses his wife.
The first lady, through her spokeswoman Melanie Grisham, was having none of it.
“I think that tweet is disgusting on many different levels,” she told Breitbart News.
Others were equally appalled at the sheer stupidity of such insinuations. Media Research Center Vice President Dan Gainor told Fox News that a calendar graph made by CNN denoting the length of time Melania was absent from public view “was sickening,” but “to see a Rolling Stone writer claim the absence was possible domestic violence is demented.”
“Imagine the outrage if that had happened during the Obama years. This is how low the left is willing to go, straight out of the gutter and into the sewer,” Gainor added.
Melania Trump is attacked for prayer, attacked for her accent, and even attacked over her White House Christmas decorations. We wouldn’t blame her if she stayed out of view.
