CNN is pathetic.
On Monday, the Left Wing fake news network released an ad that was meant to show their audience (which is growing smaller and smaller with each passing month) that they embrace facts as opposed to propaganda. Unfortunately for CNN, the advertisement completely backfired, and now is nothing more than a hilarious joke that is spreading rapidly across the Internet.
In the advertisement, which depicts an image of an apple from start to finish, a narrator says, “This is an apple. Some people might try to tell you that it’s a banana. They might scream banana, banana, banana over and over and over again. They might put banana in all caps. You might even start to believe that this is a banana, but it’s not. This is an apple.” The words “Facts First” then appears on the screen, which is laughable considering the fact that at CNN, facts most certainly do not come first.
The advertisement was clearly an attack on President Trump and his administration, whom CNN accuses nightly of lying to the American people in hopes that they will convince them that “an apple is really a banana.” The ad, which looks as though it was created by a middle school student taking a beginner level marketing class, completely backfired on CNN and actually did more damage to their credibility than anything else.
Conservative radio producer Greg Tomlin even put together his own politically incorrect advertisement in response to the one released by CNN, but instead of using an apple, he used the symbol for the men’s bathroom. “This is a man,” Tomlin narrates in the ad. “Some people might try to tell you it’s a woman. They might scream woman, woman, woman, over and over and over again. They might put woman in all caps. You might even start to believe that this is a woman, but it’s not. This is a man.” At the end of the parody advertisement, the words “Facts don’t care about your feelings” appear on the screen.
Besides the fact that Tomlin’s response is undoubtedly making liberal heads spin over at CNN, what makes it so hilarious is how much truth there is to it. CNN likes to claim that it embraces the facts, but in reality, it never has and never will. (Related: Here is how CNN poisoned the minds of Americans and destroyed media credibility for the next decade.)
Rather, CNN is much more interested in creating a false sense of reality in order to help the Democratic Party advance its radical agenda. Their goal is not to give the American people facts, but rather to distort, deceive and lie to create a “theater of illusion.”
This was exactly the argument made by Paul A. Philips in a recent article published in The Waking Times entitled How The Mass Media Controls Consensus Reality. Phillips argued that hidden controllers both inside and outside of the mainstream media have been successful at manipulating the people into believing the things they want them to believe because of the ignorance and lack of curiosity among the public.
The best and most recent example of this is the media’s insistence that Donald Trump and his team worked closely with Vladimir Putin and the Russians throughout the 2016 presidential campaign. Networks like CNN don’t care very much that there is zero evidence of any wrongdoing on Donald Trump’s part, and as such, the facts are completely irrelevant. They have an agenda and they want the people to embrace it, even if it is rooted in lies and misinformation.
It seems as though the liberals over at CNN are the ones who believe that an apple is a banana, not the president or those on the Right side of the political spectrum.
